Yes I too am looking for new gaming pc and would like to get a laptop for my abundance of out of town work. I am looking heavily at the asus g74 sx. any opinions on the expected lifespan of this laptop? as in , will it run current games on the highest graphic qualities as well as how hard is it to upgrade the graphics cards and processors? or would I truly be better off dropping 2 grand on desktop. mid you I would then have to include monitor, keyboard mouse. right now my rig is coolermaster ammo case amd dualx2 6400 3ghx? xp 32 bit.(yeah i know big duh on me) 850 watt psu g15 keyboard . and radeon 4900hd? mobo msi but from 2006. thanks Guys glad to see the Legion is still going Strong. Guess I'll chime in here too as I was reinstalling GRAW and cod4 mw and looking for patches I too clicked an ad for eve again Lured by their amazing art work. loading trial right now and we shall see. Wish me luck. I will be inquiring about the dual screen set up but not here.

Heys guys I just had to reinstall windows on new Hard drive and have reinstalled ARMA2 on this , But all was still intact on my previous HD I cannot find the forlder in The Bohemia file that has the save /completed missions and mission editoring. any and all is appreciated.

Let me know when its done sounds cool, but you gotta Mod the motorcycles to TRIUMPH Scramblers or bonnevilles. I always thought a mission that took a loop around the map but in a tank squad , and every 50 miles you could have resupply . if i get some time in maybe i'll give it a whirl.

First : will running second monitor slow performance of my Video card???? AMD X2 3ghz 2gb xp pro32bit 850 psu ati 4890? #2 I have 2 monitors set up and one is primary . How do I display map continuously on second screen as well as TS and such? Thanks in advance. EDIT AFTER REVIEW I just read many threads on this on BI forums and it seems there may be no way to do this, Or would it be an unscrupulous mod? I've read the pros and cons . but even to beable to have it pop up and still be able to see enemy in your area would help. Let me know also there used to be a thing where your GPS could sit on the screen like the compass is this available ? Or even a smaller compass ?

I know there is a PDF file out there for ARMA ONE that is an editing guide. But is there anything out there for ARMA2 . either strategy guide in bookform or and all inclusive editing game book. I thought I saw one but I just searched 2 months of browser history and can't find it. Let me know I messed around a bit with it and had a blast just not wishing to trial and error until I get it right. Also is there a layout for TS using the G15? got the basics but would rather have guidance from the pros. I hate having to ask to switch me .

I looked into them a few years back for triathalons and all I remember was if it doesn't fit right take it back and make sure you get one that fits right or youll be hating it. I heard whore stories of 300 bucks wasted and it was too loose or tight.

Hey Halli! Spartans Yeah I apologize if I talk out of turn and let me know, I have a lot of respect for the guys that run the server ,I've logged in many hours awhile back . I'll try to sit back a bit with my opinions until I know better. But yeah , if the opfor is supposed to be limited to AO then we need to get that posted big time because that seems to be misunderstood or misinterpreted or something , you guys know better than me. I do know that tonight I just spawned at mhq and was killed very far outside of the red zone . and that irritates me. as well despite the fact that enemy AI and opfor players sporadically spawn at base I witnessed a loaded helo loaded with commies drop off 5 or more just out side of the main base perimeter. they moved to just inside where they could view into the airfield I picked em off before damage was done but let me know if this is cool or unacceptable just so I know what to expect . And yeah some of that trash talking , save it for the ghetto. Real man would just swing.

Hey guys, Recently began playing online again and have been on Spartas Dom server the last few nights and plan on gettin in a good 8-9 hours tonight. When I played before more so with EBDA it was under stood you get out of spawn and fast and don't even look at it as the risk of shooting into it was an instant kick. From what I can see the opfor are usually experienced players and with this they should be on TS and if they are in Spawn they can switch over to notify all. One suggestion is until the bug is fixed is there a way to make like a purple or orange circle the travels with MHQ with a radius of maybe 50 yds which could have a NO FIRE zone rating ? Just asking. Also on somewhat the same topic , one of the guys on opfor spent a heck of a lot of time on blu for's TS channel I forgot the term for this but it seemed lacking in maturity and integrity. Just sharing my thoughts. Having a great time . Hammerj

Played today for several hours , really impressed with the teamwork and good attitude even after I and others Friendly fired , Either due to lag or glitches that don't show team or names. The AI is amazing. Will be back .

Hello Spartans, First I will RE introduce myself as HAMMERJ, also know by HAMMERJEBDA but have not been playing much in the last year at least , financial and other hobbies. Recently upgrade my Video and PSU and broke down and got me an ARMA2 . lovin it and felt I should spend some tiime online. and who better than the Members of Sparta. I am not using the EBDA because I have not played or donated with them in quite some time. Just gonna float for a spell and would like to get some knowledge and training from you guys so I may make the most of this game. I had ARMA 1 but never got the time in on it to appreciate it.
