    heya fellas

figured i would come here and ask how you guys implemented the restricted flying via game user # would like to use this myself, and would rather not rip open the mission looking for it:) share the wealth lol anyways hope you fellas are doing well thanks in advance
  3. well i looked around an i dont see any script that respawns vehicles and remakes the marker, since i only need 5 or 6 i will probably just combine the 2 scripts and rename for whatever is the case like at4respan.sqf etc
  4. so would i be wrong to create seperate respawn scripts for each vehicle type so the corresponding marker would be created or would there be a better way of doing it? sorry its been a long time since i did my lat editing "ofp"
  5. no it doesnt, i was hoping to avoid that because i dont understand everything thats going on in there. so is that what i should do just add the script to that? keep in mind im gonna be adding multiple markers.. heres the vehicle revive script
  6. this is whats in the init line of the unit markers sqf is the script i posted first, the revive script is the revive script out of dimination
  7. i been working on this for awhile i have tried many dif ways of doing it and i cant seem to figure it out this works but after vehicle respawns it disapears
  8. this game mode is the worst thing thats come along in my prespective, having to deal with both ai and human which both require completley dif tactics just pisses me off.. how about just getting a tdm going? anyways last night was the last time for me

    Ace 2

seems they made the last postioning of enemy on the map less accurate if thats what you mean, more like playing in vet mode...

    Ace 2

delta and i went on to play on op4 server last night , good group of fellas and some good fun eh. omg newest ace update added the all the tow missile launchers to be wire guided. so cool
  11. i been playing ace alot, the only time i see people have problems with stamina is the rambos with there backpacks loaded up... now the recovery of stamina has been an issue with the past but they been improving it and i assume it will be proper in the future... anyways for the full release i believe there will be an option to turn it off..
  12. oh btw, digital compass is such a usefull tool. everyone who hasnt got it should at the very least try it out..
  13. oh yea interesting thing here nco was squad leader and i was working as his radio man, worked remarkebly well maybe this should be looked at..

  16. tholozor i know i come across like an ass i meant it as constructive crticizm, srry m8....... btw alpha was down to m1a1 on our convoy assault and we had some brilliant tank supporting infantry stuff it was good shit....

    Ace 2

im always game for ace dia
  18. i disagree about the attack choppers. they should be used to soften up the ao , but you gotta stand off with them not flying straight into ao. and btw the square is a lock, you should get some practice in before tac night if your gonna fly them... all the mc,s did a good job. had some cross comms early in alpha no biggy since things eventually calmed down. had a couple people kept running rambo a bit when i first took alpha lead and thats not acceptable, but things went good after awhile and we did good attacks and teamwork, so gj alpha.... ps.....love the no backpack
  19. the real issue here is the default dom was too easy, it aloud people to rambo around and the op4 commander did help stop this... being that ace has dealt with some of this, its still in the future for sparta.so how about finding a way to improve the ai in general via scripting .... or just make the mission it self harder..
  20. i have played on the east side and killed 30 people before dieing once, which severley pissed everyone off on the other team, i guess if i was into pvp i would be proud of myself....but im not. i agree its a unique game mode, give credit were credit is due of course... but this is not what has made sparta server popular
  21. this has been some great fun and i know some of you put alot of work into this... im not sure what it is maybe the added snipers to opfor and the respawn time but it feals to much like a version of pvp now.. i think it would be nice to go back to normal atleast everyoce in awhile... so i have to ask anyone else feal this way?
  22. speaking of electric fences last year while we were camping my dog came acros a cow farm, tried to cross the fence got zapped and went running away. about and hour later and miles away i finally found him...
  23. This was submitted by a guy who purchased his lovely wife a "pocket Taser" for their anniversary. Last weekend I saw something at the Pawn Shop that sparked my interest. The occasion was our 22nd anniversary, and I was looking for a little something extra for my wife. What I came across was a 100,000-volt, pocket/purse-sized Taser. The consequences of the Taser were supposed to be short lived, with no long-term adverse effects on her assailant, allowing her adequate time to retreat to safety.... WAY TOO COOL! Long story short, I bought the device and brought it home. I loaded two triple-A batteries in the darn thing and pushed the button. Nothing! I was disappointed. I learned, however, that if I pushed the button AND pressed it against a metal surface at the same time, I'd get the blue arch of electricity darting back and forth between the prongs. Awesome!!! Unfortunately, I have yet to explain to wife what that burn spot is on the face of her microwave. Okay, so I was home alone with this new toy, thinking to myself that it couldn't be all that bad with only two triple-A batteries, right?!!! There I sat in my recliner, my cat Gracie looking on intently (trusting little soul) while I was reading the directions and thinking that I really needed to try this thing out on a flesh & blood moving target. I must admit I thought about zapping Gracie (for a fraction of a second) and thought better of it. She is such a sweet cat. But, if I was going to give this thing to my wife to protect herself against a mugger, I did want some assurance that it would work as advertised. Am I wrong? So, there I sat in a pair of shorts and a tank top with my reading glasses perched delicately on the bridge of my nose, directions in one hand, Taser in another. The directions said that a one-second burst would shock and disorient your assailant; a two-second burst was supposed to cause muscle spasms and a major loss of bodily control; a three-second burst would purportedly make your assailant flop on the ground like a fish out of water. Any burst longer than three seconds would be wasting the batteries. All the while I'm looking at this little device measuring about 5 inches long, less than 3/4 inch in circumference -- pretty cute, really -- and loaded with two itsy, bitsy triple-A batteries, thinking to myself, "No possible way!" What happened next is almost beyond description, but I'll do my best..... I'm sitting there alone, Gracie looking on with her head cocked to one side as if to say, "Don't do it, master," reasoning that a one-second burst from such a tiny little ole thing couldn't hurt all that bad.... I decided to give myself a one-second burst just for the heck of it. I touched the prongs to my naked thigh, pushed the button, and HOLY WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION!!! I'm pretty sure Jessie Ventura ran in through the side door, picked me up in the recliner, and then body slammed us both on the carpet, over and over and over again. I vaguely recall waking up on my side in the fetal position, with tears in my eyes, body soaking wet, both nipples on fire, my left arm tucked under my body in the oddest position, and tingling in my legs. The cat was standing over me making meowing sounds I had never heard before, licking my face. Note: If you ever feel compelled to "mug" yourself with a Taser, one note of caution: there is no such thing as a one-second burst when you zap yourself. You will not let go of that thing until it is dislodged from your hand by a violent thrashing about on the floor. A three-second burst would be considered conservative. A minute or so later (I can't be sure, as time was a relative thing at that point), I collected my wits (what little I had left), sat up, and surveyed the landscape. My bent reading glasses were on the mantel of the fireplace. How did they get up there??? My triceps, right thigh, were still burning and twitching. My face felt as if it had been shot up with Novocain and my bottom lip weighed 88 lbs. Still in shock
