I am there but we should try to set a sort of generic time to try to be online together. Not being like other games with large interest and ppl playing (among Spartans), it would be nice to know when the few playin MWLL are usually online to try to play as team This game is very good, but playing as a team make it great

Hheheahhe com'on !! how in the hell a company can seriously produce something like this?? I mean, I also have great ideas, but the reason why they do not exist is because they are freking expensive to just try to realize them ! .... Now, i do understand "concept cars" because somewhat they are not for the market (again they would be too much expensive to justify any production) and because at least they are evolving something quite important for the human beings... transportation... Hey Folks, Just to give you and heads up on this. Many ppl are reporting a bug on the Sys restore on 7, which delete restore points on booting up. I was reading a MS forum and they are not providing any valid solution to this yet. I suffered the issue myself before, but then, this is the kind of issue you dicover when you need to restore to a previous point, and u have the "wonderful" surprise there are no restore points - exactly as happened to me - So, before you find yourself on an uncomfy situation, check your restor points and verify their behaviour. In my experience i found restore points a valuable first stop solution for simple issues and I consider the utility quite valid. However if is not gonna work correctly, it is wasting a quite interesting amount of GB on your HD, so it might be worthy to turn it off, till when it will be fixed. MY WAY TO THE SOLUTION: First of all I have 2 partition on my systems, 1 for OS only, the other for all the rest. What I do is backing up once per month the full OS partition usinf a free program called TODO Backup. This way I save away my partition on an external storage and in critical situation i will be able to reload a valid working partition in about 8 minutes. Minimal loss of data because all of my major datas are stored on the other partition.

The GTX 480 kicks the ATI arse quite big time in almost all tests. However, i was looking on Newegg and actually you can get a good GTX480 for $500 - $540, while you can get the "competitor" HD5870 as low as $410 and there is a special offer lasting 24 hours at $390. So, let's say we have $150 between the two. I am still not totally sold that is a justified price difference / performances. What s your thought? ... If I should buy tomorrow, i still think I would go ATI, however, I am not buying.. lol.. so I hope some price change will come

There is a way to watch the major italian channels streamed on internet. It doesn t work all the time but is worthy to give a shot. go to www.robabuona.com On the menu on the left pane click on " TV in Diretta", then simply follow the screens, are quite self explanatory. Have fun..... However on youtube if you search for "italian showgirls" u ll find tons of videos with these beuties

If you are Mechwarrior "maniacs" like me, don t be too excited by this release. If you are not like me, then enjoy a decent game for free With that said, the game is very interesting and with the modded maps and over 100 mechs for sure gives a lot to play around with. Reason why I will not play it: - True to say not even the original MW4 was a "sim", but the Mektek version did speed up the action, which is just not what a Mech game is supposed to be. There is no feeling you are piloting a massive machine with an average weight of about 60 tons. It does not even try to approach realism. - Mektek modified the Jump system and now there are mechs able "fly" with almost indefinite long jumps. This is not supposed to happen. There are no such mech in Battletech and furthermore there is no way that not even the smallest Mech weighting 20 Tons can fly without wings! That has the aerodinamic abilities of a briick, and should fly like brick. - Many of the "extended pack" of available Mechs have been designed with "collision points" issues. This was an old issue reported to mektek many times. This means that some mechs have incredibly higher resistence than others just because the "damage boxes' on their structure are very difficult to hit. This is not a real factor due to particular shape, it s just a programming mistake. Mektek was never too much interested to re-design those mechs. Maybe they did it now, but I would not bet on that. So, this is not really a Mech experience, it s more a game that is a sort halfway between what MW concept was and what happened to MW when Microsoft created "Mech assault" for Xbox, the most horrible mech game ever.

I further digged your problem with a senior tech from Dell here at my job and he confirmed Vista and 7 have the functionality to interact with the SMART system to verify malfunctions on HD. He suggested to run the chkdsk from recovery consolle so that the OS is not even loaded yet, however you can also run it as I said from the CMD, right clickking on it and running as administrator. In this way, asking to chkdsk to perform his job, a reboot is required and checkdisk will start before the OS. If recoverable errors are found, good probability you fix the issue, if UNrecoverable errors are found, back up what you can and get a new HD right away. I hope this can help to solve your issue, good luck.

It really should not have any issue, however you need to check a few things: - Check on BIOS your CPU is recognized correctly and is running at the correct speed - Double check any possible PCI-x setting, check board manual - After installed XP, be sure you install all of the drivers coming with the board CD and check the website for updates - You might want to check the website for BIOS updates and flash the BIOS to newr version - Usually I don t play too muchh with BIOS, this is a kind of update that you need only when u have serious problems, otherwise DO NOT UPDATE THE BIOS. Here it looks you have serious problems, so an update on BIOS may be required, but let it as a last resort. If after all of this you are still suffering the issue, call tech support and see if they have any further test, because the MB is getting close to an RMA

Ok, after a quick search and understanding: This is a legittimate error. Windows interact with the S.M.A.R.T. system on the HD to advise and try to prenvent data loss. This error could be generated because the SMART system is finding some sort of errors, however also if you can retrieve the errors, that does not means you can fix them. You should be able to get more info using this program: http://hddguru.com/content/en/software/2006.01.22-HDDScan/ Download it and just unzip the folder, it does not require to be installed. Run the application inside the folder and then chose the scan you want run. I would suggest to run the SMART check to see what is the problem. Then you car run a Surface Scan to dig more into errors. If by any chance it does not allow you to check the disk because it is in use, you need to boot your PC from a bootable external CD or DVD and then run the program again. Buttom line, start looking for a new HD, because your one is gonna die soon. Keep me updated about this issue, i am curious to know the result of your scan NOTE: In Win 7 when runnin the CMD dos windows return the error "you need higher privileges" you need to right click on CMD and choose "run as administrator"

Sorry, I cannot open the JPG you uploaded. Therefore, i ma not sure about what issue exactly you are going through. However, before going totally mad after your HD, there are around a few malware programs claiming false issues on your PC. Although the omost common one is a malware popping up IE windows saying you have viruse, i never saw (yet) something saying your HD is "about to fail". HOWEVER, the concept that an HD is "about to fail" sounds weird to me. Either you are running a specific application, which will test the HD integrity of your HD and will provide a report, or I do not see any chance for the OS to come up with that kind of message. Win 7 on top of my knowledge has NO application running in background testing for HD integrity, so this IS NOT something coming out belonging to the OS. To me it lookos like you have a process, probably an unwanted process running in background that generates that pop-up, most of the time this is installed by some sort of malware. WHAT YOU CAN DO IS: When the popup appears, open the task manager and go through the list of processes you have, order them by user name (should be the account user you are logged in) and check each one process. DO NOT CLOSE THE POPUP otherwise the process belonging to it might desappear. Having all of this open, open GOOGLE and make a search for each and every process you see on the list. Google will report info about each one and many of those process will result being normal stuff. The bad process should be identified as soon as you search for it. You can also make a google search with the exact content of the pop-up error you are receiving. If this is a scam, some other user in the world already reported it and you can verify if this is a legitimate error message or not. please upload another screenshot so i will be able to take a look at that when i ll be home. After a few comparisons at the moment I decided to trust AVAST latest version, I do believe is 5. A few reasons to work with the new Avast: 1 - new interface 2 - new engine 3 - test proved very high virus recognition, it might not be that great to clean an infested PC, but if you know you r clean, it will keep it fully safe 4 - Game mode, disable annoying operations when a full screen app is running 5 - Ability to " resume from sleep" to run scheduled scans - this is for me a WINNER. I always put my PC to sleep and being able to resume, scanning and go back to sleep, for me is a Golden option. So far, I love it!

Well, I just got this progrm thru a "friend", so i had a chence to give it a shot and test. http://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/ What it does is making a DVD disc of whatever video format you hhave, converting at thhe best video quality and creating a final disc very well done. There are many programs doing the same, more or less, but this one amazed me for 1 particular reason: SPEED !! It fuly recognize multicore systems and you can set how many threads has to use, so i used my 8 threads on i7 and BAM ! A dvd full conversion of a standard ~700 MB good quality movie was done in 5 MINUTES !!! Yes, you read it right, 5 MINUTES conversion in perfect DVD movie, with chapters, full menu (editable if u like) and all of what you expect for a nice final product. Alright, full honesty, 5 minutes plus whatever it takes to burn the dvd, which I didn t take the time of it, depending on what dvd burner you have. The same task on Nero or Cyberlink PowerCreator takes about 25 minutes versus 5. Unfortunately this power comes with responsability (toward your wallet....). I guess the retail version costs somewhere around 50 bucks, and I am not sure I would ever pay thhat money for this kind of program. However, all depends, if you are used to make a lot of dvd for friends and family, this will make you life a breeze

Hi, I just have to give a special commendation to this game because is indeed my Fav on his kind. It s a couple of years old now, however outstanding graphic and "the best story" ever found ona RPG. If you like Fantasy RPGs, you need to give The Witcher a shot, you will be surprised. The story is a mature story, with adult content, stuff that you would not expect on an RPG, beautiful and intriguing. It does not has ANY MP option, only single, and is amazing long !, Plus, besides the main story, Enhanced Edition comes with an second adventure, .. I have no idea about that yet because I am still playing the first one I give it the total crown of King of the kind. Mostly for the story plot, beutiful and intriguing and then for the graphic art, way beyond the expectations, considering the title is 2 yrs old. For some reason this game didn t make it to the major crowd, probably a poor marketing or just an unfortunate release date, I guess it came out right on the side of some huge super pumped title, and this one hit the shades.. too bad. However, be adviced, if you start the game, the story is LONG, VERY LONG.... VERY VERY LONG.....

@ JH: This is a standalone game + expansions (depending how they r gonna release) I played MW4 extensively in a clan in europe and a few of my fellow teammates were cooperating with MekTek when they did the updates and creation on new mechs. It was pretty nice and we played for a couple of years intensively on a world wide league called Netbattletech. Unfortunately Mektek in an eccess of "creativity" at certain point screwed the game big time. They modded too much and they created some Mechs which were not even original from the Battletech Universe. And some mech they added from the BT Universe were creted quite unbalanced. As you know on Mechwarrior there are 2 major factions, IS and Clan. Thre s always been a fierce rivalry between IS fans and Clan fans, because in the way the game was played on the NBT Servers, there was a severe limit in technology you could use being either IS or Clan. So far so good, because this add some realism to the combat, but then came a problem. MekTek scred the Mod and as result the technology assigned to the Clan was way tougher than the one IS. true to ta that the literature concerning Battletech says Clan tech is advanced compared to IS, unfortunately they broke the balance and there was a huge debate against MekTek and their project. After this short recap of a story made of passion and blood for over 2 years of fierce Planetary Wars, I can tell you I am not too much excited about MW4 mod released bt MekTek, because they made that game way too much arcade compared what a Mechwarrior game should be, and a bit unbalanced toward Clan, although is possible they revised that aspect after such long time. I might give it a shot, however I am not too excited.
