My longest headshot is 950 meters with a 12x scope, and that's on a buddy who is standing still waiting for me to shoot him. I could basically only see him because of the reflection on his scope. But still, if this guy has shot at the TV station from that same position many times, he would know how much he has to compensate. I learned pretty quick how much I had to compensate to hit my buddy, as we were in the same spot all the time.

I downloaded the latest Sparta ACE package. I wasn't able to get on last night either, mate. I might be able to play tonight around 2000 GMT if anyone is interested in a mission.

I'm patching right now. What time you guys want to play tonight? Will I need the latest ACE too, or shall we play without it?

Yeah, this is a fun version of PvP for sure. I also enjoyed the Attack and Advance, or whatever that game mode was. That was probably as close as you can get to Battlefield in the ArmA world. A row of points to seize and the teams start at each end of the map. You have to capture them in order, which makes for good opportunites to cut the enemy's advance off by neutralizing a flag behind their own front lines. EDIT: Advance and Secure, I think it's called - AAS

Mission play is always fun. I'd have to check if I'm up to date with everything, but I would love to get some mission play done on a weekend sometime soon.

The graphics and animation in ArmA aren't really what makes the game, anyway. It's the immersion and realism mixed up with the immense teamplay. How you guys going? Haven't played ArmA in ages as I've been trying to get into BF3. It's still a bit too fast-paced for me, but easier to play if I only have a short period to play at a time.

I haven't had a lot of time to play this lately, so you might want to edit me out of the list if we need room for someone else who plays more regularly.

When you get the time mate, I'd prefer to be US Army if those three are all we can choose from. SF TL if possible. No rush though. You can change it if you have to load 'er up and script some other stuff.

Unfortunately, Cent, if I've once joined as a BAF I have to continue joining as that character until the mission is reset. Dai, as for jotting down roles, I'd like to have the German Spec Ops TL, you know the guy with the shemagh around his head? Do you want preferred kit also? Bugs/things that need fixing: - Need to get some earplugs, goggles, glasses and stuff into the ammo crates - Weapons are very limited ATM - I had a rucksack set as "on back" when I left the server the other day. When I rejoined yesterday the ruck was gone. It was the larger PRC ruck. Couldn't find a new one in the ammocrates either, so something went fishy there. Or is this because the mission only allows a certain amount of radios, so it respawns them and lets other people pick them up?

Had no scroll menu on first join. After rejoin my scroll menu appeared but my action menu disappeared. Last one turned out to be my keyboard that had disconnected, though. ^^ Didn't like that I always have to join as the same character, though. I only have BAF-Lite, so I get irritated after while with the low-res textures on my character...

I just noticed that Zulu is actually behind you guys in England now, as you're on summer time (getting technical here). So it should be 1900 Zulu (2000 GMT). Anyway, looks like I won't be able to make it. Girlfriend is dragging me out for some jogging...

Sounds like a good idea, Batwing. Agree with Halli there, too. The support element can also be the AA element, either with the Linebacker or with a HMMWV Avenger.
