Very interesting. I'll definitely be checking this one out. - JHunter -
Ah ha! It wasn't my math that was the issue, just the placement of the decimal in the picture threw me off. - JHunter

Well... math was never my strong point, Vii. But using your conversions and looking at that picture... I must be missing something. - JHunter

For those that don't know him, Major General Peter Cosgrove is an Australian. General Cosgrove was interviewed on the radio recently. Read his reply to the lady who interviewed him concerning guns and children. In a portion of an ABC radio interview between a female broadcaster and General Cosgrove who was about to sponsor a Boy Scout Troop visiting his military Headquarters. FEMALE INTERVIEWER: So, General Cosgrove, what things are you going to teach these young boys when they visit your base? GENERAL COSGROVE:! We're going to teach them climbing, canoeing, archery and shooting. FEMALE INTERVIEWER: Shooting! That's a bit irresponsible, isn't it? GENERAL COSGROVE: I don't see why, they'll be properly supervised on the rifle range. FEMALE INTERVIEWER: Don't you admit that this is a terribly dangerous activity to be teaching children? GENERAL COSGROVE: I don't see how. We will be teaching them proper rifle discipline before they even touch a firearm. FEMALE INTERVIEWER: But you're equipping them to become violent killers. GENERAL COSGROVE: Well, Ma'am, you're equipped to be a prostitute, but you're not one, are you? The radiocast went silent for 46 seconds and when it returned, this interview was over. - JHunter

I do use Any Video Converter for a number of things. Pretty easy to use and yields quality results in a timely manner. I have converted mkv to avi a couple times, so yep, I would recommend this one. - JHunter

I agree with Kal. I also believe that the building in which the M-COM resides should not be fully destructible. I'm ok with taking it down to skeleton, but being able to destroy the station without ever getting close to it is a flaw. - JHunter

However, in 5 years we'll be quoted saying, "Damnit, why can't Arma 5 have the graphics that Call of Duty #27 has?!". But don't get me wrong, I'm all for it as well. =) - JHunter

Anything above 30 mpg is typically considered "good". Getting above 35 isn't really heard of too often. At least for me, personally, but I am by no means a big car person. That is correct. Many gas stations don't even offer Diesel. They offer 3 different "grades" of gasoline, however. The majority of our diesel consumption comes from larger "work" trucks, but predominantly from our semi-truck drivers. - JHunter

Ditto... again. Damnit. - JHunter

It worries me how easy these cheats are to get. Is there any truth to their claims of being undetectable by PB? - JHunter -

So I've been considering purchasing a TrackIR for a little while now, but Lighty's post re-inspired my interested in the product. Seeing as the only game I play I can even use it in is Arma 2, would you guys say its worth the investment? If so, whats the major difference(s) between TrackIR 4 and 5? - JHunter

Good info, Beta. Thanks for the post. - JHunter

Borked Computer - virus I think.
Hunter~SPARTA~ replied to Watchman~SPARTA~'s topic in Computer Discussions
Like Batwing was saying, there are several disc bootable OS options out there. I'm walking out the door right now and I can't think of the name of one off the top of my head, but basically what they do is load an alternate operating system from the disc but still allow you to access the local files on your hard drive. This route should stop the virus from ever being initiated. - JHunter
