  1. I'm on the same page as Watchy. I've seen that pattern often, just usually not that large of mounting holes. Picture might just make them look bigger, though. What happened to the knob that was there to start with? - JHunter
  2. Not finding the answer I'm looking for from my phone... is pre-purchasing the only way to get in on the beta preview? - JHunter
  3. I will most likely be playing. - JHunter
  4. Watched a few of the game play videos, looks pretty awesome. Also downloading. - JHunter
  5. The full game may end up being 15GB's... but for the beta, mine is also 4.76GB. - JHunter
  6. That is my first time hearing about Skydrive, Batwing. Sure enough, I was able to login with my Hotmail account and it claims I have 25GB of free space to use. Good to know. - JHunter
  7. Slashgear says Google is coming out with its own cloud storage service, labled Google Drive. 5GB of free storage and then some paid plan if you want more than 5GB. The article expects the service to go live next Tuesday, the 24th. Here's the article: http://www.slashgear.com/google-drive-leaked-5gb-cloud-space-for-free-16223134/ - JHunter
  8. Very nice. Firing from the skids should certainly make for better theatrics. Haha. - JHunter
  9. CNN news article about Karl Marlantes. A bit long, but I really enjoyed it. http://www.cnn.com/2012/03/24/living/karl-marlantes-war-books/index.html?iref=obnetwork - JHunter
  10. Oh yea, absolutely. I wasn't saying that to be a smart ass. I've seen many GP Medium's go up in flames on account of those horrible stove heaters they stick in here. Makes you take "fire guard" far more seriously. - JHunter
  11. I feel like "How to escape a burning tent" should be required learning material prior to creating such a thing. - JHunter
  12. Been itching for a good city builder for a little while now. In the past I've thoroughly enjoyed Pharaoh and the whole Stronghold series... so looking for something in that vein of the genre. I gave Anno 2070 a spin tonight but just could not get the hang of it and got frustrated, then gave up. Graphics were decent, just had no tutorial or hardly any help at all to get started. Pretty sure the first task in the first campaign mission was bugged too; even after Google-ing a walk-through, could not get past it. Right now I am downloading demos for both Tropico 4 and Cities XL. Anyone have any other suggestions? - JHunter
  13. While I'm not disagreeing with anything else said here, I disagree solely with the idea of not changing things just because "that's how its always been". I'm not even defending Windows 8, I really have not read or seen anything about it and frankly I don't care, for pretty much the same reason Viiiper stated; Windows 7 does everything I need it to do, and does it well. However, I just wanted to point out that particular mind set of keeping things the way they are and always have been is not a good mind set to have. Just because you're used to it one way does not mean there is not a better way to do it, but you won't know unless you give the new way a try. It's just lazy to complain about having to learn a new way to accomplish a given task. My two cents. - JHunter
  14. Pre-purchase is available through Battle.net for $59.99. Release date is May 15th, 2012. http://us.battle.net/en/int?r=d3 - JHunter
  15. I found this pretty interesting, perhaps some of you might, as well. The whole article - JHunter
  16. I just recently went through a class on fiber optics and I feel like this statement is very misleading. In best case scenario it may hold true... but in reality, most likely not. A lot of the long-haul cable that's in the ground now cannot even support 100 Gbps, let alone 512 Gbps. - JHunter
  17. I believe his intent with the story is genuine. However, on the whole, I do not share the same view point as the author. A few of the statements he makes I very strongly disagree with. I don't care to go through and break down the entire article, but I will say that what ever attitude or mindset you have is entirely up to you. As I've always said... the only thing that defines "me" is myself. I am not defined by my family, my job, my rank, or any "traumatic" event. My personal belief is if you let any of those, or anything similar, become an excuse for "the way you are"... you are simply a coward with a weak mind. - JHunter
  18. Seems like a pretty well put together app. Didn't try the friend messaging though. Could this be Steam's first step into trying to take a piece of the smart phone game market? - JHunter
  19. Nice. Started my download during my lunch break so I can play after I get off work. - JHunter
  20. So you're going to have a lot of walking around nak... quality alone time. As Custard said, enjoy it. Welcome back. - JHunter
  21. Haha. Good stuff. The end had me cracking up. I hate those dating site commercials on TV. - JHunter
  22. If you have to preface your post with this kind of statement, it probably doesn't need posted. Not everyone's goal is to be the "top player" in the game. Some of us just want play a leisurely game with friends and enjoy it... not heckled by "pros" and pre-teens. ********************************** You're entitled to play the game in the manner that suits you.
