  1. How small of a penis do you have to have to set the table this way?
  2. So am I supposed to use the little silver one with the dessert or the salad? Or is it for the fish course? Damn these "posh" Texan table settings!
  3. I like the ThermalTake V1. It's performance and price are similar, and on a couple of reviewer's sites, they even found it to outperform the 9500! http://www.viperlair.com/reviews/cooling/air/thermaltake/v1/
  4. Foxconn makes the C51XEM2AA- 8EKRS2H: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813186098 They also used to supply it to EVGA, who re-badged it and sold it as the 122-M2-NF59-TR. That's the version I have, and I love it! Super stable, very overclockable, tons of BIOS support, etc. The only thing that I don't care for is the powered-fan cooled north bridge. If it had a passive solution like the ABIT or ASUS versions, it would be perfect! Happy building!
  5. That (at best) awkward attempt at humor in no way reflects my feelings either. I appreciate the temporary home that SPARTA made available to us (no strings attached, I might add). I still love to come and visit! Please don't judge all of us by one person's actions! Everyone that I play with loves to both have SPARTA company AND come be good neighbors on SPARTA servers! Please accept my apologies as well.
  6. I've owned two Volvos and they're great cars! If a more modern Volvo was compared with that Renault, it would have performed at least as well! That having been said, if money and safety are the deciding factors, I would always go with the newer (and more expensive) car. Safety is important with the way that some of these idiots drive today.
  7. Maybe, but seven of the top ten scores in 3D Mark 06's "Hall of Fame" are with Crossfire mobos and 2900XTs. Only three are with SLI and 8800 Ultras. Viiiper pointed that out to me awhile back when I was poopooing Intel for going with Crossfire for the mobos sporting their new X38 and P35 chipsets.
  8. I'm not sure there is still a regular old "BDA" anymore. Unless you count Sean McTeague. He's a clan of one.
  9. I'm using the 07.10 drivers with an X1950Pro 512MB card. No problems with either COD4 or GR:AW2!
  10. What's a "Mulberry Handbag"? Is that special?
  11. If the Barcelona-based quad-core consumer chips are as competitive as the Barcelona quad-core Opterons, than we should see a return to a valid two manufacturer cpu market. The next generation of nVidia and ATI motherboard chipsets using DDR3 and supporting Hyper thread 2.0 and PCIeX16 2.0 will also help to balance out the marketplace. It was AMD and ATI moving into the pre-built Dells and HPs that really drove their growth over the last few years. If their new motherboards and processors can capture a decent share of that marketplace away from intel again, they should have deep enough pockets to go to tighter manufacturing tolerances (like Intel's 45nm Penryn), and develop more products. It's the mass market for consumer-grade pablum that fuels the development of enthusiast components. It's just a "wait and see" for now.
  12. I have no idea what to say about that video. I guess it was funny, but the way that guy was undressing me with his eyes through my computer screen kinda made me uncomfortable.
  13. Cool idea and all, but...... that......guy......is........soooooo..........gay And, no. There is nothing wrong with being gay. Unless you're annoying and pretentious about it like this guy. By the by, I used to subscribe to "Make" magazine. It's cool!
  14. You're not stupid. There's no way that you would know that unless you had played with one before. Try to go N speed with 10/100/1000 ports if you can afford it. If not, there are still some very good ones for G speed with 10/100 ports. I like linksys, netgear, and d-link. I am not belkin's biggest fan. I know some people who like trendnet and buffalo, but I have never played with either one. I got a good price on a netgear router at officemax or office depot (can't remember which one). It was actually about ten bucks cheaper than newegg or FRY's. Have fun!
  15. If you have a dual gigabit ethernet nVidia based board (like the 680i or 590i, etc.) this definitely works. It actually works by dedicating each ethernet port for unidirectional packet flow (or converting traffic from full to half duplex). One for out, one for in. It's a feature called "teaming", and it's been one of the options for server setup for awhile. On most multiple Ethernet port PC boards, the ports have discreet controllers linking to a single south bridge chip which bottlenecks throughput. The speed advantage isn't that great, but advantages in stability and less packet loss should be noticed. If you DO have an eligible nVidia based board, go to Start>All Programs>nVidia Corporation>Control Panel. Click on Networking>Adust Teaming. Enable Teaming. As long as you're in there, you might want to enable hardware-based TCP-IP Acceleration, as well. Good luck and have fun! And just for giggles, you might be interested to know that the drivers for the 590/650 nVidia boards are still not completely compatible with Vista. I cannot "officially" enable teaming on my board, but have both ethernet ports connected to my router, anyway. Both activity lights flicker, so.............
  16. Thanks for the good wishes and kind words. I know that I, for one, will be a frequent visitor these forums and hope to join you all on Teamspeak and in-game soon. I look forward to seeing both of our groups prosper and grow in the future. Those of us in the rank and file will possibly even benefit from having even more dedicated servers and empowered leaders to keep our larger gaming communities robust and fulfilling for a long time yet to come.
  17. It sounds like you guys hacked krambo's interwebs as well..................LOL
  18. This whole situation seems like it just won't go away. What are people still looking to accomplish by keeping this bickering going? I just wanna hang out and play video games. Before I wore any tags, that was my goal. It still is now. I miss playing with some of the people that have left the servers that I frequent the most often. The constant hostility and conflict makes me uncomfortable. Why are a bunch of people who've never met face to face so invested in these hurt feelings? Let's just hang out, bullshit, and play some games. These bans don't make any sense to me, but I have no influence over them. The ownership of web page content is a valid and understandable concern, but the actions taken in this situation (and in some cases LACK of action) just don't make much sense. Although our initial group has now redefined itself into two, aren't we still identified by our goals to create a more mature environment for older players? Why isn't that what's going on?
  19. Kram do you know the significance of the Greek letter Lambda that you have used in your sig? Just in case you don't, check here: http://www.lambda.org/ And, no. I didn't make that up. Here are more: http://www.lambdalegal.org/ http://www.lambdaliterary.org/ http://www.hlslambda.com/
