Nice. Thats all to common for myself. I have had significant hearing loss even as a child, but especially since I was in the service. At best its difficult to hear a lot of different voices. I have lost completely some mid to high ranges and it is difficult to hear some females voices if my back is towards them. They thought I was ignoring them at work for the longest time. I just told them about my hearing loss and then say But I did hear you a little bit and I was just ignoring you. They get all huffy and storm off while I smile and the people who overheard our conversation just laugh. Its quite humorous. In the ER where I work, some of the nurses can be lets say, up-tight bitches, from time to time and its human nature to mess with them a little bit. Just a little jab to take it to the next level. Then I turn around and say loudly, "This is SPARTA!!" HAHA ;)

Its kinda sad they even make LBE and vests that big. Whats the point? A slow target is a dead target. Its makes about as much sense as putting a screen door on a submarine.

Okay so those that have played this beta know that it takes forever to load to the main menu. Most games allow us to somehow bypass or configure the intro films so that they don't play. After having worked on the R6:Vegas No-Intro for quite some time, I figured out how to do it. Lucky for me, this was so much easier. Simply navigate to this folder: K:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis MP Beta\Crysis MP Beta\Game\Localized\Video Create a NEW FOLDER, call it whatever you want, and move these five files into it: Trailer_Crytek.sfd Trailer_EA.sfd Trailer_ESRB.sfd Trailer_Intel.sfd Trailer_NVidia.sfd Be sure to leave the bg.sfd file in place as it is used in the main menu as the background. Voila, you are done. Start your game and it goes straight to the main menu.
