I tried to get on the server but it said my ping was 3000+ I couldnt even play on a regular server where my ping was 70, people were warping all over the place and I was spawning dead.

It seems nice in theory, but there are so many different specs floating around and possible problems (heat, price, size, SLI) involved with the card, dont jump without seeing it benchmarked a couple of times. And dont forget ATI's new dual card solution coming up in the end of January, 28th is the rumour. Looks at being able to give Nvidia a run for its money. ATI 3870 X2 rumoured specs.

I am starting to play this almost nightly now, just started getting myself shot out of the air online. Im up for almost anytime that would allow the European guys and the North American guys to play, as I am in real need for advice when it comes to evasion and aiming.

I look at this forum every once and a while just to see whats going on. Some of the members have some extremely ambitious ideas, but the devs seem to be commited to making a good, tactical game. Too bad that means we have to wait a while for it.

Im hoping this game isnt RIP because I just bought a joystick so I could play it. Been meaning to buy one for a while because flying just seems like a lot of fun. I can get off the ground fairly well, its just getting back on it in one piece :S. If anyone still plays and can give me some tips, set up a time and ill be there.

Just saw it. I was wondering what all of the hype surronding it was about, but I can see it now. If anyone wants a link that will allow them to stream it, PM me. Its just about dvd quality, so its worth the time if you dont want to spend the money in theatres. It wont be up for all that long though, maybe a couple of days, because it will eventually be reported and taken down.

Why would you want to avoid rebranders? Just curious, since if they are just reselling something from a quality manufacture. This is the oringal model and from what I've read there reliable, but I really don't know what I'm talking about. Is there any real advantage?

I've been meaning to upgrade my whole machine, and have finally decided to do so one part at a time. I have a general idea of parts that I want to get after reading a lot around here but know nothing about power supplies. I was looking at this, and was wondering if that is enough power to future proof (I know nothing if future proof in the pc world, but I'm looking to shoot a little into the distance). I'm looking to get one of the new 8800 GTS 512 in a few weeks depending on a couple factors, and would eventually consider SLIing it in the future. Just looking for some general ideas about PSUs, so any advice would be appreciated.
