How'd you get a beta key yesterday? I guess they're doing another beta test?

Box.com is running a special and giving out 50GB of online storage space for free. They are a service much like Dropbox, offering cloud storage and services. Not sure how good they are, but hey, 50GB is 50GB. If nothing else, use it like a free FTP service for sending files to your buddies. Or, again, just make a junction from the current folder it's installed to (i.e. Program Files\Microsoft Office) to a folder on your HDD. Then you get the benefit of having Office installed on your D:\ or w/e drive without having to actually reinstall everything. This is especially useful when doing anything with Steam (i.e. migrating games, installing Steam on a different drive without having to redownload games, etc) It will probably still write data to places like AppData, but it'll do that regardless.

That sucks. There's no custom install option? If nothing else, if you can figure out where it installs to, make a junction from there to a spot on a secondary HDD (mklink /J), and it will act like you have it installed on your SSD while actually having the files stored on your HDD.

Yeah definitely a fun game. My latest play-through I played on triple speed, got pretty far. Apparently there are also zombie outbreaks--I lost 125 people to zombies eating their brains. They escaped from the medical clinic.

Played it for two hours, made two cities. Fun game, really wish all the buildings were unlocked (and they let you play for more than an hour at a time...)

Did you just restart the game, origin, or your PC? I've been "blocked" for over two hours.

Yay! I just wish decompressing wasn't taking so damn long. Edit: Were you able to play? Play is blocked for me, possibly because they took the servers down temporarily?

Are you trying to join the Tekkit server? Address is minecraft.legionofsparta.net:2400. You will need to download the Technic Launcher, select Tekkit Lite, click Options in the launcher, and point it to a custom zip file. Yeah I saw that, pretty damn impressive. Makes me think that user created content like this would make for awesome levels in an actual game (by that I mean a game unlike Minecraft--i.e. a dedicated RPG/adventure/racing/etc game, but with Minecraft's art style) Imagine how long that must have taken. I don't get how people do it.

Honestly I think it looks great. It's cool how you can expand buildings, like adding extra classrooms to a school. Will definitely be picking this up.
