  1. I doubt there is much thinking going on prior to most of these accidents. As I said, Russians + Vodka... But hey, at least with the high insurance fraud scams over there, there are plenty of dash cams to capture all of these moments.
  2. Yeah that was planned for my mission just haven't had the time this last week to work on it.
  3. I was confused for the longest time. Then I realized this thread is in the Minecraft sub-forum.
  4. I've never had any real issues with Origin. Or if I did, it was so long ago that I don't remember. Only issues I've had were with SimCity servers, which now seems to be mostly resolved. GO BUY THE DAMN GAME EMT. If you buy it before March 25th, you get a free game with it (Dead Space 3 or Mass Effect 3 or Battlefield 3 or some other three game.)
  5. She seemed a lot hotter before they removed the helmet cam.
  6. They took too long, already have a Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Best phone I've ever owned though.
  7. Interesting indeed. Thanks for the link.
  8. Thought this video was pretty cool. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQWcIkoqXwg
  9. There have been various reports of this on the BIS forums. I think the general consensus is that it is a a result of either AI or physics networking. I'm hoping they will fix the issue soon. In the mean time I may try to figure out a short term solution.
  10. ...isn't that about the time EA started going to shit?
  11. Yep the sewage treatment plants will put water back in the ground. Very handy if you are pumping water out of the same area. Also, make sure you remove the basic pump that comes installed by default on the water station, and replace it with a filtered pump--which is a lot better than the basic pump.
  12. Correct, the seagull bug is just that--a bug. However, as Kal said, with BattlEye currently disabled, hackers will be running rampant. So it's best to leave our servers passworded until such a time as BattlEye support is provided.
  13. Servers were a lot better last night, think they're finally starting to stabilize them. That or a lot of people gave up trying to play.

    Arma 3

What do you mean? Like the CD Key? Oh. Key bindings. Look at the ArmA 2 and ArmA 3 folders in your Documents. Open the files .ArmA2OAprofile and .ArmA3Profile. Copy settings as needed. Some may or may not work depending on engine changes.

    Arma 3

I think one of the main things that made CQB terrible in ArmA 2 was that you couldn't walk through doorways or any small area because your gun would lower and it was impossible to shoot anything. You'd also get stuck in doorways quite often. Both of these issues have been fixed, and I feel like CQB is a lot better off because of it. Movement is still clunky when in tight spaces, but as you said, this IS the same engine. They've updated the lighting system and introduced Java along with various other features, but this was not an engine rewrite. So yes, it will still feel like ArmA 2 in certain respects (though I personally feel they have vastly improved in almost every area).
  16. It was just a basic map someone that was in Pre-Alpha made. Haven't tried the BIS maps yet.
  17. Bunch of us did some Coop missions just now. All I can say is, the combat is vastly improved. Many epic firefights were had. And the graphics look damn, damn nice in my opinion.
  18. Game is running well. Encountered a few bugs, and had one crash--but that's expected of an Alpha. There are two MP maps, a 7-man COOP and 10-man COOP. I'm liking the changes they made to movement, feels much more fluid. Chopper controls are decent as well, and the analog collective controls are nice. Dedicated servers can be run via a -server switch when launching ArmA3.exe. So we just need to purchase a copy of ArmA 3 for the server in order to run it. Or we can possibly use one of our installs. Once I figure out what my RAdmin password was, I'll test it out. Also, if you buy it, buy it via Steam @ http://store.steampo...com/app/107410/ Apparently the BIS store is having some issues. Just did some CQB testing. CQB is a LOT less frustrating in Arma 3 compared to Arma 2
  19. Oh don't worry I'll be Simming it up at release as well.
  20. Personally, I think that unless you plan on going with liquid-cooling, stay away from the Corsair Obsidian cases. They're really made for liquid cooling, and have horrible horrible air flow (in my opinion). But your mileage may vary. Also, go Intel/NVidia. I know some people are adamant about AMD, but you WILL have far less issues with Intel and Nvidia than with AMD. I guarantee it. Though in all honesty, unless you truly care about performance, just about anything in that price range will suit you well enough. Oh, and looking at your list, I would swap out the Plextor SSD for a Crucial M4 of the same size (should be almost identical price). And possibly the PSU for a Corsair PSU. But you can probably get by with the Plextor/Seasonic as well.
  21. You know what this means? March 5th is officially the beginning of a new era of ArmA mods. Kal, you best get ready.
