Gotta feel bad for those marines, urban warfare is a nightmare. Sadly they cant level the whole place because it makes bad publicity among the locals. Makes me wonder, why would you choose to live in a place that you know is gonna be bombed eventually? Even better, why would you stick around unless you are a terrorist.

For a retriever - T1 strip miners, as many mining laser upgrades as you can fit, and anything you can stuff in the mids (passive hardeners). Get T2 strip miners and the 3 high sec ore crystal skills to 3 or 4. To be honest, in high sec it doesnt matter what you mine because everything is about the same value. Lowsec is extremely dangerous, as well as 0.0 for a miner not in an alliance who is occupying that space, so i dont suggest going there unless you join an alliance. As for jetcan mining, you can do it but the risk from gankers is a little high at the moment. Try large or giant secure cans (you will need anchoring 1 and a system below .7 security status).

At the rate this is going, we might soon be seeing a SPARTA-blob conquering 0.0. Just remember guys, the learning curve may be steep but its well worth it. EVE is about as deep as gaming gets, only thing deeper is real life (which you may want to stop subscribing to after the EVE addiction kicks in)

I would be playing now, but they keep wanting me to subscribe with my credit card or a GTC, both of which i dont have. Sad really, since i already have 30 free days. Well you deffinately have more patience than me, i would have just flipped him off and been done with it. But, i guess there are some people in the world who will go out of their way to make themselves look right. By the way, just as a tip, in court it holds up a lot better if you use your signal even if you have the right of way. Makes the other guy look like he was daydreaming and not paying attention. Part 1 is ok, both run different Xlive accounts. Part 2 is my mistake, i meant linksys. I dont know why i would ever say syslink but i managed it somehow. Part 3 is likely to be the problem, but the wierd part is that a month or so ago, i could run them both at the same time and have no problems. Now the only thing left to do is to google search how to change the port that my xbox uses... Edit: cant change the port, gonna try DMZ and see if that works... Edit 2: i already had DMZ (UPNP) on, so i turn it off and both xboxes will connect... im just plain confused now

Sorry guys, didnt know where to put this. Anyway im having trouble getting both of my xboxes (there not both mine, dont get jealous) to connect to xbox live at the same time. this is a snippet of what i sent back to xbox support, and was hoping you guys would have a better answer than the copy-paste i know im gonna get from support. "To clarify the setup i am using, both Xboxes are connected to seperate Netgear 5-port hubs (connecting an xbox and a PC on each hub, the PC's are unaffected by the problem), which in turn are connected to ethernet jacks running to the basement, which are connected to a Syslink router, which is then connected to a modem. The problem is that when both Xboxes are trying to connect to Xbox Live, only one will connect at any given time, while the other will return a cannot connect message. When using the test Xbox Live connection feature on the xbox (while the 2nd xbox is connected to xbox live) it will connect to network and internet, but not xbox live. I have double checked and ensured that there are no problems with the mechanical workings of the setup i am using, and the problem persists only on the 2 xbox consoles."

Yea, i love the tech 2 hit and run stuff as well (which is probably why they didnt want me.. too much small gang and not enough blobbing). But, that aside, im stuck on whether i should skill up my missile skills all to 5, work on drones for missioning, or go right for capitals.

Well, if that was a serious question, the buzzard is a tech 2 frigate and can use a covert ops cloaking device, meaning it can warp while cloaked where as you have to uncloak to warp with regular cloaking devices. Plus it has bonuses to probing (not GySgt's kind of probing, sorry) so that you can probe out a ship, and then warp to it cloaked, gaining awareness of that grid without letting the person or rats know that you are watching them. Sleepers are the same as rats, but only live in wormhole space. HOWEVER: they have actual AI codes implanted into them by CCP, in addition to bieng able to detect and shoot cloaked ships. Depending on what class (difficulty level) of wormhole you go into, they can remote rep each other, cap transfer, and the AI will swap targets and focus fire. Rumor has it that in the most difficult wormholes there are dreadnaught and carrier sleeper spawns, but i have never personally seen one. Hope that helped, Rags

CLEAR! *thud* The thread lives!! (and just think, if i pass my exams and get my EMT-basic licence ill be doing that to people) All probing jokes aside the zypher has its uses. Its good because sleepers wont shoot at it, so you can warp into a sleeper combat site to see exactly what you are fighting. Its bad because unlike the buzzard it cant cloak and hide from players, nor will normal rats refrain from blowing a few holes in the side of your ship.

Even though im American i had to laugh at some of the answers people gave, im pretty sure the bottom right continent is labeled AUSTRALIA on my map. Sadly just watching that video made my IQ go down... To be serious i have to agree with medic, its an edited video meant to amuse you more than anything, and the people in it were paid, or choose on their own to be ignorant of the world they live in.
