Good luck with the move Steel, I am gutted you are dropping for a while, hurry back - you don't need much in today's society - electricity, food and the internet, so make it a priority. -

Faulty Power Supply?
andrewman~SPARTA~ replied to Durka-Durka~SPARTA~'s topic in Computer Discussions
Thats bad luck for it to happen to something only 6 months old - is there no warrenty? Glad you didnt bork your HDD, some files are important, some are irreplaceable [and should be backed up] -
It took nearly two hours to take the first town, and we moved agressively after the initial counter-attack from the town. The first house inside the town became an Alamo, very entertaining. Good squad work and great comms saw us through, some nice touches with re-loading at the air-drops prior to pushing the assault forward. Agree with Panic, as there were a couple of downed friendly helicopters, and one enemy helicopter that shouted Banzai, prior to wiping out 80% of the team, and our death rate would have been very low for the time spent fighting. Great squad work all round, I do feel that the guys that joined late were left at base too long, and I think they may feel it too, not certain what the answer is here, as it can be a distraction. I appreciate what the 2IC now does on a Friday, may be helpful, and it's a thought, to have another squad form at base, be provided with a leader from within and an insertion point on the AO by the 2IC. Only when they are landed and secure on the AO do they make contact with the MC who then directs them onto target. This would then present the MC with a squad on the battlefield, without the concern of logistics Last night was unexpected for a Monday, and enjoyed greatly because of it - Ta Zeno

I thought I was going mad as a fish, but this explains it

If this is possible - in real time - that someone could control AI movement and attack/defend, that would add another dimension to the game - forcing realistic approaches to the AO and ........I can think of so many improvements that would be required to our attacks. It would certainly elongate each town, as there would be the element of surprise and cover for each movement that the team would need to consider. Worthwhile exploring?

This could save a lot of troops lives
andrewman~SPARTA~ replied to EMT~SPARTA~'s topic in Spartans general chat
This looks very effective and if deployed should save lives from these types of attack - which are more prevalent in Iraq than Afghanistan. -
Could you have wiped a jumper off the Mainboard when you were dusting? Does the PC work with your friends vid card. does yours work in his? Were you running SLI, is there a bridge that could have dislodged?
