  1. If you know anything about automotive history you will know this story, now there is a movie.
  2. Congrats on the car old man.
  3. Try replacing blocks with catwalk or half block around a frame, it should be much lighter.
  4. I anticipated problems with wheels either coming off or needing repositioning, so taking a leaf from racing I added 4 pistons so I can lift the body and make changes to the undercarriage or replace wheels!!!! Rather you then me on the homework.
  5. Was the trailer only pulled via a connector? If I remember correctly My "scraper" would get up to about 4 million kgs loaded. But small block was the way to go in the past because large block suspension could lose a wheel if it hit a pebble. This is still a great game.
  6. I have been playing Space Engineers again. In order to fuel the Hydrogen thrusters I decided I needed a large wheeled vehicle to "scrape" the ice so I built an 8 wheeler that could support a lot of cargo weight. I found that, unlike the last time I tried wheeled large block vehicles, the wheels were more robust. So I returned to my thoughts long ago of a mobile base. I went through a number of iterations. My favourite has 20 wheels and is able to climb out of the ice lake and descend back onto it. Since uranium is not on the earthlike planet they are powered by batteries and dock at wind turbine charging stations While I am playing with these huge Vehicles, in my mind, I hear the Thunderbirds (Gerry Anderson) music.
  7. I built a small block hydrogen "rocket" to transport materiel to a space station. I control it from the earth base. It still amazes me to watch it land vertically on its connector. Adder had done this with a standard remote but it takes many steps to accomplish. A great bonus is hydrogen consumption. Using this I can operate my hydrogen eagles with two tanks instead of four. This allowed me to add a passenger compartment.
  8. I bought the decorative pack dlc as well.
  9. Thanks for the information.
  10. Its just a script, I dont think you need to add it (? indicating uncertainty of statement).
  11. I have been messing around with a great autopilot manager, Sam's Autopilot Manager v2. I have been using it to launch a cargo ship from earth to another ship in space. It orients itself correctly and locks automatically. Then I come back to earth where it docks to a specific connector and again locks automatically. It also allows higher speeds than 100 m/s and manages its thrusters perfectly with no waste, Furthermore it will prioritise thruster type depending on where you are. 12. I think I got the gold edition, it was about €100 and I got the discount you mentioned. Pretty good fun so far with more depth than the original.
  13. J, I had a look at your lift vehicle and tested it locally. I created a GPS point at a connector on the ground and another at 5000m. I set the remote to climb to the 5000m gps then descenf to the connector. result 1 It climbed very slowly and spun like a top. I added 2 descent thrusters and engaged precision mode. Result 2 Climbed much faster and spun less but missed the connector on landing I moved the Remote Control to behind the seat added a conveyor and connector directly beneath it then plumbed it into your existing conveyors. Reparked Bertha straight and connected. Result 3 Same as result 2 except it consistently lands on connector but not aligned. The next step is the timing blocks to disconnect/connect, turn thrusters on/off.
  14. I have made good progress, but I have a little concern. After we capture the control points I notice that the consumables are indeed consumed and The control point officer needs more. Does this mean we will always be running around foraging for water, food and components and if we dont keep them supplied we lose them. With that said good fun so far.
  15. I sorted out recruiting Larson so I was able to join the clan. As usual I have little idea what I am doing, but unusually the grind is reasonable with a lot of different things to do. I especially appreciate the weapons, There doesnt appear to be a meta rifle and all the weapons I have used are reasonable but I do like some more (M60 and Urban MDR). Unlike division 1 where a lot of weapons were complete rubbish. There is a new mechanic for mismatched coop players. Now the lower ranked player is given a temporary false rank close to the high ranked player. Their weapons are more effective as well, this means there will be no fast ranking.
  16. Look forward to seeing you in game!
  17. I didnt realise it was released. I've started the download, I'll try to be ready for tomorrow.
  18. I have been messing around in single player, but not very much.
