Happy Birthday Halli! Have a good one, and that needs to include many many beers! -
I've never trusted Apple. Why would you trust a company that never gives you the whole apple, they always take a bite out of it before they give you it..... Just a thought about their philosophy! I'm sure there is nothing wrong with their systems, lol

Sorry mate, just my sense of humor, obviously it doesn't travel well between countries. I was making a pun about the spreadsheet, as it was full of different kinds of Fish and numbers! The formula for the calculation of size of circles looks fine and should focus on area as you would like

Sorry guys, but someone has to say it, those figures look fishy to me!

Ebden, I utilised this method for showing similar type of stats for the charity I work for. I simply took this idea and created a small .net application which used a stored procedure to produce the dataset for the graph. This really is a good method of visually showing the data. Squarified Treemaps

As you will have noticed by my presense on Bad Company last night, I am back up and running. Got home from Scotland trip on Monday to find my nice new shiny copy of Bad Company on the floor by the door. Booted up the PC monday night, loaded the game, played a quick single player and then BOOM, pc shuts down and wouldn't switch on again. Turned out the PSU was frazzled, it was part of my Thermaltake Case, (which was bought as a working box, AMD2/64 4600 X2). At Christmas, the wife treated me to an AMD Phenom Quad core, and I slipped in another 500Gb drive for data and striped by orginal pair of 320s as an OS disk. Well the PSU was only 530W, and I guess it did it's bast over the three months to provide the required juice (I also have a twin SLI GSXII7900 NVidia card too). Obviously on Monday night after work I ran out and bought a spanking new PSU with 700W (now well within the requirements), and am up and running. Moral of the story is ALWAYS check what you are putting in will work, I was really really lucky not to take out any of my other comonents! I didn't even loose the data on the striped drives, which must be a miracle!

New EA connection Message

Guys, that's shocking, don't pad threads to gain posts, create an interesting topic for us to read! Oh yeah, bump -
Welcome, hope you have fun!

I agree Custard, this does not appear to be a gimick. In fact what it is trying to do is mimic a real radio system. Being a qualified Signaller when I was in the TA more years ago than I care to mension, I can certainly say that the army radios then did not sound or work like TS, the fact that you can change frequency etc on the radio is exactly the same kind of realism as having range cards on the sniper rifles. This mod definately has a place in making the game more life like, I'd go as far as saying that TS out side the game (although very useful indeed) is the stop gap due to games not having this built in, bearing in mind, that in general units, not every soldier on the battlefield has comms with everyone else, generally there would only be a signaller detailed to the commander. To that point TS is very unrealistic.

Considering the appalling english in the message, yep, definately not a real message, no matter how apt it is, lol
