I would really like to do the same thing Phil. I don´t really think one can understand how steep it is untill u are actually trying to pedal your way up there. Spoken to a guy at work the other day and they went to Norway to a mountain that is simular and they started out way to quick wich had the effect that they needed to take a rest 2/3 up the mountain wich they weren´t proud of cos they were all used to cycling.

I rather not go into a debate about bikes with u cos i have been racing it for almost 10 years and have been working with bikes for quite a while. But i need to tell you that bikes don´t win races people does. Every manufacture build extreme bikes that are just as good as the others. There is really nothing special about the Trek bike that u saw on tv. It´s just a big advetisment for Trek and hence it´s a us built bike and NG is American i let u do the math. Composit materials have been around in bike industrie for a long time now it´s nothing new. Frame that weigh less than 1 ´kilo was made over 5 years ago. What they are fighting about now is 5-10 grams nothing more. I am NOT trying to start some debate about doping ect. and i have nothing against Armstrong or the american bike industrie. I am merely stating a couple of facts about the Trek bike. Don´t take this as any kind of offensive respond. And no the bikes dosn´t win the Tour de´France, people on drugs do and Armstrong just happened to have the best doctor at the time

From the pictures your bike weight 9,48kg Phil Trek are overpriced bikes that have only slight or no comparison to the bikes ridden by Astana and other pro teams. Expect to pay around 8000$ for a pro bike

Wait untill the end of the year and treat yourself with a new card for christmas. The 250 cards are only rebagded 9800 cards. 260 newer models has the newer 216 achitecture. U need at least 1gb on your future card. Oh yes buy a 9550 core2quad cpu if u want to upgrade. They are dirt cheap right now. Cheaper than a 8600core2duo and a lot better. thats my next upgrade and i am running a 8800GTX. I rather upgrade the cpu right now than the gpu

Ok let me just start of with. DDR3 Ram can be inserted the wrong way around!!! Then i will leave the rest to your imagination. DOH! CPU was tested on my other pc and works fine. Mobo propably fried and the two sticks of new ram too but i don´t know if all 4 sticks whent to heaven. Well not really. There is nothing wrong with just getting everything approved and being in the EU having a certificat from TÜV ( German athority thats tests almost verything for the road) makes that really easy. Problem is they don´t approve the car without aditional work to the brakes suspension ect. Remember 650BHP from a car that weighs in at about 1100kg, and that is were the young people cut the corner and thereby taking a huge risk by taking this sort of car on the street. Btw it wasnt a G4 but a G3 VR6 so imaging that old pice of junk with 650BHP with everything else stock. No sir i prefer to punish that idiot for being completly stupid and risking his and ohters live. Call it Big brother but i call it road safety (mine and others)

Yep but the best part is that WE KEEP THE PARTS!!! Yes sir. I confiscate the car on the spot. Have it taken to a Dyno were they measure the BHP then i document the whole thing by taking pictures of the Turbos gages etc. Then the car is taken to another place were they strip all the illigal parts and what ever is left he gets back along with a dokument were he signs that he agrees on me confiscating the parts and destroy them. All the above is all payed by him cos it´s expenses related to the case. He gets a fine of around 200£ but then there is all the above that amounts to aprox. 1000-1500£ Welcome to Denmark!

I once pulled over a G4 with biturbo and 650hp. It wasn´t registeret as such so buy buy engine parts for about 10000£ + labour+ a little fine.
