Personally I'm waiting for the UK release, I ain't doing the dodgy translation shit again and tbh this is only ArmA 2 so I'll continue playing ArmA ACE until we can all play as a group.

It was a pleasure having you aboard mate and squad movement is something that only comes with practice (which is a good excuse for you to come back and play more ) but all in all I think the whole mission went really well.

It was a true honour to have been playing last night, it was one of those rare occassions when everything seemed to just 'click'. Every time I looked around people were covering arcs or firelanes. Movement was spot on using available cover and spacing. At no time did I feel we were surprised or outflanked by the enemy, we planned our movement and dominated the area. Great planning by X-Wind and Medic, it was a pleasure to be under your command.

The hand cramp is bad enough but you have no idea of the pain in my butt cheeks from holding the third one !!!!!

I have reinstalled the full game and been getting used to the controls again as has Rob. Don't worry about having to use Hamachi mate, I wouldn't let it in the same street as me let alone on my PC. I have a laptop set up which is hosting a FL server and there is a way round the MP issue using Xfire to connect (me and Rob tested this last night and it works a treat). We are going to keep the server vanilla for a little while to let people reacquaint themselves with the game then maybe start introducing some MODS if everyone wants them. There is a good post Here about getting Freelancer working properly in Widescreen (it changes all the fonts and FOV so they are correct) and is dead easy to follow.

Waiting for my copy to arrive, had to order from Amazon in the end as nowhere had it in store. Been playing about with the demo to familiarise myself with it and as soon as it arrives we'll grab some space ;)

A Few of us have tried it and so far the feedback is not good. Personally I find it one of the strangest games I have played in a long time, and not in a good way. There are a huge amount of bugs and controller issues and the crazy 3rd person viewpoint is very annoying. Also, where is the promised MP Co-op mode?

This one seems to be living up to it's Special Forces name and is doing a good job of slipping in under the radar. End of Feb 2009 release apparently! Anyone else interested? or any more info?
