Snowshoed over to the neighbors to watch some of the Superbowl and took these on the way back, a view from the road, and a close up. The snowmobile trailer is a bit over 7 feet high. Waiting for the Russians to show up

Well here's the view out the front door: Normally, the step off the deck is a 4 foot drop. And you can see what is left of the swing set sticking up above the snow. More later.And its later. Here's the Toyota Highlander. The snow is as high as the top of the SUV. And the path to it was dug out yesterday, but isn't so hot today. Oh, I know, I'll just sneak out the basement door... or not. This Winter Storm Warning is for the central and southern Utah mountains. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 feet will be common above 8000 feet by early Monday morning. Higher valleys are expected to receive 10 to 20 inches. Southwest winds of 30 to 50 mph will occur across the higher elevations... with areas of blowing and drifting snow. Snow will become heavy at times this morning across the higher terrain of southern Utah... and continue this afternoon through tonight. This snow is expected to taper off during the morning hours Monday. A Winter Storm Warning means a significant amount of snow is expected. Strong winds and blowing snow will make travel very hazardous or impossible.

Oh great, and another winter storm warning for tonight and tomorrow with a heavy snow warning to boot. About 2 more feet. No time for pics today, spent it digging out, snomo maintenance, and a brief ride. Camera is still in the box.

Well, it's been a bit of fun and a lot of work. Did a 100 km snowmobile ride last week before the latest storm. Snow depth ranging around 6 feet. Step off the machine in the wrong place, sink to your chest. That was before the last storm that added 2 more feet. Spent the day digging out (again) including tunneling to find the wood pile, the propane tank, etc. Will post some pics soon. Seriously, I appreciate the sacrifices of those who go to work to protect our country. I hope you can find a way to make things work out.

Add that to the jillions of dollars of credit card debt that Americans have, along with their propensity to buy Chinese stuff from Wal-Mart -- to dollar becomes a rather worthless currency. You need to have higher interest rates for people to want to buy American bonds. Rather a sticky mess.

Lol, I live on a marsh with my house on stilts. Unlike the pig with a house of stone, this little piggie has a house of sticks, lots of insurance, and fine plans to evacuate.

And parked outside my house would be a 8 x 14 trailer, as I would be loading my stuff up and getting the hell out of there right the hell now.

Nothing like a bit of heat, humidity and pressure to bend a 4x4. Those tangerines?
