  1. Hi, Here's the link to the Dirt 2 Manual PDF Here's a link to a thread on the codemasters DIRT 2 forum with links to lists of cars/tracks, etc. Dirt 2 Thread
  2. That's why we call you richy rich. No one else here could afford to drop over 12 quid on a bank holiday
  3. Hi, A few of us SHIFT racers grabbed a copy as well. Someone will be hosting a server over the next few days. Had a quick look at it, looks good Managed to get a copy of the manual in pdf since steam didn't have one. You need to install Games for Windows Live, all the stats and stuff are controlled by it.
  4. Hi, sorry too much to do, hopefully next week.
  5. Hi Mik, I may join the server later if I have time is there anything I need to get in to your TS server to get the BC2 server details. You can PM if you need to give me a PW. Thanks.
  6. Hi, I use a couple of the little revo 3600 and 3610 with the Nvidia ion chip. One as a net top and one as a media box yes you do need an external drive. Also since I have a home server and everything is loaded on that I don't need much HD space on the PCs. Both play everything great and can be fitted to the back of a TV with the included mount.
  7. Get sick of winning races........... If only we could combine this and Shift
  8. posted this in the shift thread thought it may be of interest to all. Only applies for the next couple of days: Here's something for you do tonight just after sunset, between 8.15 and 9pm BST. Look to the West and about 20 degrees up. ou should see a bright 'star', this the planet Venus (if you didn't know that already give yourself a slap). If you look to the right of Venus about the width of 3 fingers held at arms length) and slight lower you can probably see a small bright 'star' It may be at the limits of vision, especially with the still bright sky, binos will show it clearly. The 'star' is the planet Mercury. You may just be able to pick out the 'crescent' in binos (The two inner planets show phases like the Moon, Venus is nearly full) Only one percent of the human race has ever seen Mercury, welcome to the elite
  9. Hi, Some may have already discovered this but TVgorge is an unrestricted tv streaming site with some excellent content.

  11. Hi Medic Do the chests at the human start castle have anything of great value in them? I started off as a human warrior.
  12. Hi, Since talk of this ubergame has appeared in a couple of threads. Though I would start this for any questions, comments, hints and tips. now I gotta go get my fix.
  13. I have the G19 keyboard and I recently bought the G13 gamepad. Both are excellent and the G13 is a major piece of kit (heavy, solid feel and on the fly g key assignment). Yes Medic, Dragon Age is very badass indeed. Going to continue the quest right now
  14. Hi, Second that on CCleaner, I'm currently using MS Security Essentials for my antivirus spyware needs.
  15. Hi All, Before settling on my current setup I looked into the acer high end laptops. You will find a really useful set of various specs and configurations on their website and there is also a downloadable pdf of their current prices. you really need to pay attention to those ID numbers I eventually decide to go with a dedicated gaming desktop and a Revo 3610 w/4gb RAM and a 500 GB as a media centre/ general browsing PC.
  16. I purchased a Logitech Pro 9000 and it is a vey nice cam with an excellent picture, however, the logitech cam software seems to have sound issues under windows 7 x64 and can hang your PC after a cold boot. The drivers installed by win 7 are fine but you do not get all the special features. There is enough in drivers properties for normal use (zoom, etc.). Obviously this could be an issue with the logitech software and effect all their webcams. I don't think it is an issue for every user, but a few have reported problems on the logitech forum. It's just their way of having a bit of fun, the swines. Strange thing is they make such bloody good cameras - Group Captain Lionel Mandrake name the movie
  17. My previous experience of windows upgrades is that you can do a full clean install, but will be asked to insert the original OS disks or activation key during install. Looks like things have changed. The comments have more details of people's experiences. I don't know whats going on with EU releases. My retail Win7 HP installed IE8 automatically. I pre-ordered 2 copies from Tescos for 50 quid ea. and they arrived citylink on release day posted from MS distribution in Ireland. Looks and runs very nicely on a netbook with 2gig RAM. My free upgrade Vista to 7 for my main PC has been posted so I hope I can wipe this HD and clean install PS if it runs on Vista it will probably run on 7. I read of people even using XP drivers on 7 to get back functionality of special function keys on netbooks. The XP mode in Ultimate/Pro seems particularly for old business apps that people don't want to/can't upgrade.
  18. If you don't know this tac sim you may want to check it out now it has been patched up. It's only £8.95 or $10 from their US site. A couple of expansions are also available for download on Battlefront's website. Marines and British Forces $25 each Here It's a modern version of the Combat Mission series. It does look good. I have tried it pre patching and it is a mil sim with a high immersion factor and a high learning curve.
  19. OMG you killed 'Franky' mine is now 'rtr'
  20. I have used a g35 for last couple of months. They are very good, but I have little to compare them to. Here's a Review
