    Beta Test?

If you fancy testing the latest beta versions there is one available now: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=6917
  3. LOL, np mate, just my jealousy poking through... Looking forward to the demo though.
  4. It's a pity that a few more of us also had "nothing to do with it"
  5. I have to say looking at all these latest vids that they seem to have a better product than Arma 2 which has been a disappointment for me since it was released, and since the Arma 2 community seem to be more interested in making mods of F1 cars and other tat rather then making it a better game then I can see a lot of people jumping over to this, including me.
  6. Yeah an interesting guy, I have been following his dispatches for some time now.
  7. Blimey I know it's "grim up North" but I didn't it was desolate as well .. Welcome back to civilisation mate..

  9. I'm the same Durka, it's not as if I dive for cover when I hear fireworks going off but I can do without the loud bangs or even those long continuous series of bangs when they are going on, mind you if I am sitting in my computer chair and one of the kids or the dog drops something heavy on the floor behind me I tend to swing around shouting at whoever was to blame before I have had time to realise what it was, this usually gets me the dirty look from the wife but it's not as if I do it on purpose lol I tend to wake up in different parts of the house sometimes at night even under furniture much to the amusement of my kids but I never remember how I got there and my mood can swing up or down several times in a day with no warning and for no apparent reason, it may just mean I'm getting older and crotchety since it's not getting better that's for sure..
  10. Good effort Zeno, I get crazy ideas like this from time to time but normally water them down a bit until they are doable lol I'm not far behind you in the age stakes and I do a fair bit of off road mountain biking over here on the South Downs which is on my doorstep, this is my current torture vehicle of choice, the "Boardman Comp" Mountain bike, I prefer the "hardtails" to the "Full Suspension" but I guess that's all personal choice. I wish I was a bit nearer because I would definitely come along just to give you a training partner to shout at when things are going wrong lol Congrats mate.
  11. Looks so much like Graw/Graw2..
  12. Sure is pretty looking, and seems very smooth.
  13. Here they say it will be $59.00 http://www.ghostrecon.net/forums/index.php...mp;#entry542289
  14. LMAO, I think you could be right mate..
  15. As they say, I can see I am going to have to work very hard to not get my ass kicked...
  16. I was astounded by the way they had the city rigged in classic style, "obstructions" mines, IED's even those aircraft fuel tanks, all trying to funnel any attackers into designated killing zones, it must have been a nightmare not knowing if you were entering a rigged up building or over a mined patch of ground, let alone then trying to fight it out against all the RPG's and AK's. Kudos to the guys who took part, it's not exactly the sort of combat environment you can ever train for although I expect a lot of lessons were learnt and have been passed on since those days. I finished a book called Apache by Ed Macy recently, it's the story of a guy who started out in the Parachute Regiment, became injured and retrained as an Apache pilot which is an amazing achievement in itself, but the missions he carried out in Afghanistan while flying are outstanding and I was gripped from start to finish, definitely recommended.
  17. In that case, very nice kitchen mate.. @ your right on there, the guy in front would be going through the door first anywhere I had to go, that's if he could actually get through the door... Btw, working my way through the "House to House" you recommended excellent stuff, I couldn't believe the BCIED and other gear the guys encountered when they first went in, I don't know I would want to go into any buildings over there with that sort of setup being used by the insurgents.
  18. LMAO Durka, that should start with "Women" ....
  19. Happy Birthday mate, have a good one.

    Screenies.

Nice one Halli.. I did one in practice mode.
  21. Which game has this been an issue for you? please clarify.
  22. I can't see that option in the full version mate, but I did notice that if you go into scenario and then "My Missions" you can make a mission on the spot a bit like the battlecentre setup we have in Arma, it works really well.
