You could use your replacement ship to run a few missions from the bulletin board and clear you debt in about 5 mins? On the one hand this is cool and I will do it, on the other hand, my early backer status was only worth 5 minutes of gameplay in real terms? $%^%$£!!!

So I updated today and launched out of a station some god forsaken place. Pressed the wrong button, deployed guns, pressed wrong button again, fired guns, space station effected defensive fire and destroyed my ship. All in 3 minutes, Thing is, I probably had some kind of "better than basic" ship to start off with, now apparently I am in debt to "something" until I repay the loan I needed to buy another ship! WTF, I think this game is too big for me. Luggs?

Actually, when scrolling through a webpage, I'm still getting tearing, it's just kind of blurred now, instead of a sharp line, pathetic. I'll get a new monitor.

@ Hunter LOL, brilliant. @ Cobol, it was set to adaptive, I put it ON, no difference, youtube videos still shearing. Hmmm, I launched fraps, there was no aero option. Checked settings, I was on windows basic, so i put an aero theme on just to try your tip, started fraps, ticked the box, launched a YT video and it was about 30FPS, but hang on!! There was no tearing!!! How was windows desktop at basic causing tearing? I think you solved my problem!! F*CK!!!

So since upgrading my PC recently I get screen tearing BAD on my monitor, when using the desktop, ie just browsing around and scrolling the screen on web pages. The only thing I did not upgrade was my syncmaster 204bw 1680x1050 monitor. Then I read this today So is my screen tearing issue my monitor? It is kind of a low res for my new GTX 780 I guess. If anyone can confirm this is the likely issue, santa might bring me a new monitor. Thanks.

So I emailed cloud imperium and said I have a payment on record that looks like I was an early supporter, but that I could not login anywhere, here's their response... It is possible your account did not merge to our new site. If you would like to create an account and then send me a screen shot of your payment i will; attribute it to that new account. So, NOT HAPPY! My question to you guys before I respond though, is, what have I missed, has there been regular email updated (like with Elite Dangerous) and has their been playable beta downloads that I have missed out on?

Yeh similar thing happened in that video, although I suppose, isn't that pretty realistic for the fog of war? Does that mean you are a villain with a bounty for there on in though - that would suck. I'm excited and depressed in equal measures, excited by the exellence of this game and depressed at the amount of time I don't have to play it to it's fullest. I'll be making the most of quick start guides and tutorial videos etc thats for sure, need to flatten out this learning curve in quick time.
