I'd have to agree, over 200Gb is really excessive for home use. I class myself as a heavy user, and my monthly total doesn't exceed 50Gb. I'd hate to live in the same street as folks downloading 4 times that much. My ISP (same as viiiper) doesn't have a monthly "cap", it's continuous. Anyone downloading more than 3Gb in one 24 hour period gets their internet speed immediately cut. That stings, I like your deal much better.

My brother is right into poker right now. He had a few weeks there where he made a very decent sum playing. He also plays free to enter tournaments that let the top dozen or so progress to games with large prizes. I went around and watched him one night, he was playing 4 tables at once and it was very interesting to hear the thought processes behind his strategy. I downloaded some Poker TV shows off BT and watched a few episodes, very interesting stuff! I'd love to get in to it, but dunno if I can find the time. If I do, I'll join in for some here.

Did you guys hear about BF2? After all this time they are bringing out a new patch and new maps! I need to go check how long ago it was BF2 came out, and the expansion pack too - I remember I got the expansion but stopped playing shortly after that. I just reinstalled it because of the new content coming, had a couple of quick games. Yeh the graphics are not CoD4, but they are good enough and there is heaps of gameplay not seen in CoD4, like all the vehicles and gunships, and nice touches like easy squad forming so in a huge server you can form small squads and easily spawn on them and find them. CoD4 would benefit from that feature, imagine having an 8 man team split into two 4 man teams - one on defense one on attack - that would encourage tighter squad play. I wonder what the motivation is to release new content for BF2 after all this time, I mean, there's even been a totally new game in the series since B2 came out. Anyone else here ever play BF2?

Sworn to secrecy, I've been beta testing a new racing sim, iRacing. That's there new website, publically opened today. iRacing is a Sim, in the strictest sense of the word, GRID ---------------------- GTR2 -------------------------------- iRacing It's all run through a novel web interface and downloaded client, there's a huge amount of user data tracking going on, all your best times compared to everyone else's etc. The bad news? It's pay to play, so that'll put most people off right away. On the upside, that will elimate virtually all cheaters and trouble makers, and ensures a field of serious racers. So, cars and tracks are all individually priced, I'm not sure how the pricing is fixed ('cause I got to download over a gig of data free lucky me!), but if they do a demo and if any of you are into racing sims, definitely check this out.

Yeh this is a serious error, most serious I've seen in a long long time. Support are on it, but it sounds very bad.

Thanks. I bought dirt when it first came out, but it was unplayable on my 7800Gs. It runs great now, and even with fraps recording it still manages around 30fps, so I can get some really good footage. I'd love to make a bigger movie showing more vehicles and terrain, it's the best looking racer I have ever seen.

That's great! Even if you have to reinstall to play, it'll be worth it I assure you. I played in the last one and the missions were awesome.

There's a sniper tournament coming up, details at GR.net news page. I can promise it's going to be fun, scripted by Lightspeed, weapons by Niccola - Quality. Two man teams, it would be really cool to have at least one Sparta team represented, I know I could probably coerce Medic in to it ;) What do you think? Come on guys!
