Uh oh. I just finally got around to cancelling my MW2 pre order today, and with the cash I bought Opflash:DR on a whim without researching anything first. I have yet to open the box.... Is what Rocky is saying true? I will likely only play it for the Multiplayer content. Should I keep the box unopened and return it? Your opinions would be appreciated.

Over at the official FC2 forums, alot of PC players are ripping the game a new one, and like I said, many were claiming it took half a clip of clean shots to down someone in multiplayer. But I would respect you opinion ten fold over an UBI forum tool!

So I see you folks have a section on FarCry2, so some of you must have played it already: impressions so far? Specifically: I played Stalker Clear sky for a few hours and got so fed up with the amount of time it took to kill a bad guy standing 15 feet away wearing a hoody that I uninstalled the game and threw the disk in the garbage (I'm lying, its on the shelf) I have read elswhere the FarCry2 might have the same problem...up to ten hits to drop a bad guy? That sounds tedious, not challenging. And more importantly, how does this translate to multiplayer? Is it worse then CoD4 softcore mode as far as the damage model goes? Trying to decide if the purchase is worth it! Thanks Rage

Sounds like both manufacturers are just playing the big numbers game. In testing its been shown that two 8800GT's in sli perform just as well as the new 9800 for 200 bucks less. Actually, looking at those charts and then looking at these prices http://www.newegg.com/Product/Productcompa...N82E16814143117suddenly makes it look like a pretty good card from ATI.The GT is better, but not by as much as I had heard people say. $100.00 is a big difference.Actually found some GT's for a low as $270.00 after...no edit button?

I've read the two new ati cards were meant to compete with the 8800 GT primarily by being cheaper than it. Its still outperformed by the GT so I'm not sure how much cheaper it is and if its worth the savings.
