  1. The CORP is NOT DISBANDED and we are coming back and we are about to lay the smack down on these guys who are not seeming to be very tough from what I can tell from researching their history online. That's not definitive, but seemingly not that strong. Anyhow, they've been missing all week until this morning and we might not even see them for the remaining time of the war.
  2. Cy Law 1. Corp. commerce and trading (not to mimic you viii, but when I started my trial account I asked what was needed and someone said a trade and business guy, so my initial attributes support this and I am at Trade rank level 5, Broker Relations rank level 4 and Retail rank level 3 from the start, I just haven't actively used any of it yet). 2. Weapons Offense and Defensive support. 3. Logistics/Hauling Freight, etc and a little mining on the side.
  3. I don't disagree with most of your analysis. However, I don't think that clip shows a bias. That panel is a panel that is assembled to give opinion on all sorts of things, not just the video game issue. Clearly the panel was not equipped to properly understand the issues involved. However, that is not necessarily a bias by FOX News. They use that panel or some variation of it for a variety of things. They didn't pick the panel to SLAM that video game or games in general. Bias would have been there if they had, but they didn't and its not biased. The other basis for claiming bias would be the issue that they don't report negatively on FOX products or FOX Family products. I disagree with this assertion. In fact, I remember a month or two ago a specific report that was overall negative in its evaluation of a FOX Family product and they included a disclaimer at the beginning of the report that it was owned by same parent company as FOX News. I had found it funny at the time because the disclaimer was out front, but then the report slammed the product. I don't recall if it was a movie (I think it was) or something else, but I do specifically remember finding it funny/odd about the disclaimer followed by the negative treatment. By the way, there have been many studies by many sociology and psychology departments at many Universities (no I can't name them off the top of my head) that I recall reading about or hearing of on the news, that show that exposure to violent and sexual content in all sorts of media, including games AND news, does desensitize (sp?) adolescents in general. However, I think you bring up a very good point that the specific demographics of those studies should be looked at. Also, you, the guy from SPIKE and the last panel member are all on point with the responsibility being with the parents.
  4. I didn't see anything biased about this report. The anchor asked all the relevant questions of the two "so called" experts and the female expert was a moron and showed it, while the guy from SPIKE was intelligent and straightforward with his commentary. The panel that discussed it afterward was comprised of persons who obviously didn't know much about the topic and were chiming in as a nonexpert opinion panel might when presented with something they knew nothing about. The best opinion on the panel was that espoused by the last panel member about government should not be controlling every aspect of our game and internet life and that it was up to parents to be "in charge" echoing the comments of the SPIKE guy. Also, the anchor was very forthright in mentioning Microsoft's disclaimer AND she was fairly sexy and I had a short fantasy about giving her all those inches I know she is begging for!
  5. 22!!! Who let him in!?!? lol Have a great B-day Krammie/Mark! Tony
  6. I'm out of commission for a few more days, right now, I am in Oklahoma helping with my mother who is hospitalized. I had to fly up here on a moments notice when it looked like she was going to die Wednesday. She has gotten better and is out of ICU, but today she is not as responsive,so it is still touch and go. I need to arrange for a short term convolescent care before I leave and returnto florida around tuesday or wednesday. I'll see you guys then. I am limited to this blackberry for my web access until I get back, which has made posting this a more difficult process.
  7. All of those hurl-a-cans passed right directly over my head here in Polk County. I remember them well. Thankfully, that was before I bought the house and didn't have the same worries as I was living in an apartment. The last two years I was worried about the 60+ foot tall oaks and elms or poplars or whatever the hell they are (I know some are oaks, beyond that it is a mystery to me), but we were lucky and didn't get enough breeze to blow out a candle. I remember standing on the landing of the second floor breezeway at the apartment back in 2004 taking shots of it all on my camera, shingles and small branches flying past me and the rain coming in at a 30 degree angle.
  8. A day late and a dollar short, but hoping you had a great birthday!! How come we haven't seen you on TS in a while bud?
  9. I cannot say enough about the Enermax Galaxy. I got it on Viiiper's recommendation and although the first one had an issue with the underrpm warning on the fan going off all the time, but I RMA'd it and no problem since that.
  10. I have OCZ memory, but an EVGA 680i Motherboard, not a Stryker. Anyways, the OCZ ram supposed to run at 1100 or 1200, but if you don't boost the voltage it won't go above 800 and the automatic transmission for it (as I call the auto adjusting feature on the software/bios) fluctuates it between 533 and 800 depending on demand without ever taking it beyond 800mhz. To get it to run at the higher, I will have to fix the voltage at the higher rate. I just haven't done it yet. For this particular OCZ memory rated at the higher speeds, it is a design feature for it to run at the higher rates only with the higher voltages and it is designed to take the higher voltages without burnout. Dunno if this relates to your topic or not, but I thought it similar enough to post here in response in case it helps.
  11. I'd play GRAW 2 if the patch was worthy and some others would play it.
  12. Hope you feel better soon Snowshoe!! Enough of the beefcake though eh! That last one made me toss my cookies and the acid is still tearing up my esophagus!
  13. Happy belateds custardly-cuss-right!
  14. A day late and a dollar short, but hey... HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. I am not too tied up to play IL2 and would welcome it sometime when we have a few interested parties available to play.

  17. Mine wasn't too bad to resolve, though still annoying.
  18. Medic, The rar download that you provide a link herein is mucked up. I get an incomplete file and rar cannot open it. Unless it is a compatability issue with my version of rar, though I have not had problems with other downloads.
  19. I turned on every light in the house, all the computers, cranked up the AC, started the dishwasher, opened the fridge and freezer doors, started the washing machine and the drier, started the grill in the backyard, started the lawn mower and let it idle, idled one car in the drive and raced the other one around the block! All that and I still don't think I hit 100k! Now, on a more important point: I did all the above and still didn't raise the temperature outside by even .00001 degree celsius. My question to you is have YOU done your part to get me my beachfront property?!?!?
