OC memory doesn't appear to have much benefit mate I had the same result. I found just a tiny tweek of the processor had a much bigger impact.

My godson was into putting together his own bike he even made bits out of Duron (I think thats the what it's called) it needed to be well made because of the abuse it took when he was using it. We cycle as a family and one day (Wife n 2 kids n me) in winter going down a track I said to the boy go through that puddle it's not deep, he wouldn't so I did. Yep it was 2 feet deep and I got soaked the wife peed herself laughing.

Without knowing spec difficult to say mate but I would lean toward the plasma as a slightly bigger bargain, but like Z says £250 is cheap either way.

Too funny first

When you do your bigger version at you second home (LOL) I noticed that many new AV amps have a built in network port (some wireless) and can view and play pic and film files on a NAT server or PC via a GUI on the TV. Saves having a seperate device.

I have a X-Fi xtreme gamer soundcard and I have started to have some probs. The volume control on my g15 stopped working and sounds of my gunfire were missing in cod4. My daughter had put some stupid new software on my rig so I used system restore to go back a few days and this solved problem. The problem has returned so as last week I used a airline to clean my rig I thought I would reseat the card and check the connectors didn't fix problem. Any ideas? ta

They are both great cards mate, are you going the Intel route? I do like the idea of a HDMI socket it makes a lot of sense. I play movies on a 32 inch Samsung connected to my rig and the difference in picture between that and playing the same movie via Platstation 2 is phenominal.

My 8800gtx OC will play crysis at mid settings it is my processor C2D E6600 I think is stopping me playing it at high.
